Photos from the recent Children's Beaded Jewellery Workshop at Ocean Studios, Royal William Yard, Plymouth. Children, and adults, came along to make necklaces, bracelets and anklets galore!
I'm so excited to share my beaded necklace tutorial for Mollie Makes magazine with you! I designed the necklace exclusively for the magazine so that you can create your own pink beaded beaut of a necklace!
The full tutorial is available in the latest copy of Mollie Makes, out now.
Much love,
Sadie xx

I'm running another upcycled jewellery workshop at Make @ 140 Vauxhall near the Barbican, in Plymouth, Devon! So if you're looking for a new hobby, or to try something different - this might be for you!
Bring old, broken, unused or unloved beads and I'll show you how to make them into a long beaded necklace! There will be free basic extra beads available at the class, as well as fancy 'extras' you can buy and add to your own.
Last time each lady made two necklaces, with one super speedy lady making two, plus a bracelet!
Deets:

So you all know I love colour, I love pretty things, and I love a bit of tedious needlework! So it was about time that I tried my hand at embroidery.
I bought the Geometric Cat Embroidery Hoop Kit, £8, from Hobbycraft which came with everything I needed for my first embroidery challenge! The had easy-ish to follow instructions (I had to look on YouTube for better instructions on French knots!), and most of all, I love the pretty kitty picture!
I'd definitely recommend this kit for first time embroidery and I'm now on the hunt for my next one!

I recently spent an afternoon with 10 cute little ladies for a birthday party DIY jewellery workshop! We made necklaces, bracelets and headbands, with charms, trinkets, beads and shiny things galore!
All the little ladies were so much fun, and our youngest participant was 18 months old!
